hey, i get this strange buzzy sounding.. buzz.. when i turn on my pc, it goes away after a while, but after this it comes back and goes so randomly, any idea what it could be?? its not disrupting anything but its not a normal sound i should be hearing i think..

is it a fan on its way out?

also read that it could be that but this case has only been used for 3 months, plus every part in this pc, what else could it be?

im apalled at the community here -.-, i see many threads getting attention yet the problems i have, have been answered once with a relatively unhelpful post, then nothing

harddrive vibration.

disk in your DVD drive.

a cable behind the motherboard tray, transferring vibration to a side panel.

lose screw holding components.

dont know, it seems to happen the more im on a graphics intense game tbh, or atleast making my card work a little, and its more of an electrical buzzing, i kinda hear a distinct secondary buzzing sound behind the normal buzzing :S

Mine is doing the same when im gaming and when im gpu folding....ive tracked it down to the power supply...OCUK Power supplys here i come LOL:)

What gfx card? It's probably the analogue power phase on your nvidia card. There's some feedback effect with the power supply and it produces a squealing/whining/buzzing sound. I find mine is more prevalent when the FPS is high, though since I got it the problem has become less severe. It's almost silent now after about a year.

Had the same problem, stray wire was touching the cpu fan, nearly took a finger of while trying to move it with the pc turned on.... ouch!
