strange results with oc?

Hi all, I have been trying to oc my amp extreme 1080.

so far i have +80 on code and +400 on mem.

I ried the afterburner auto oc, and again the bench marks were lower compared to standard

but if I run heaven or superposition, I get better results on standard than I do with a oc.

why would this be please?

in afterburner, I increased the voltage, power and temp limit to max.

but even if i run the afterburner auto oc, it gives lower results with the sliders above set to max.

Think ill just leave it standard, as its getting me easy 100+ fps on ultra settings , 2560x1440 on pubg
