Components:
SG-05
HN55-USB3
i3-540
4Gb Patriot 1600
Vertex 2E
So it's all been working beautifully until the other day. User reported it would not come out of sleep, and would not start windows from full reboot. Turned out somehow the BIOS had reverted to defaults (therefore IDE with a windows ACHI install) and therefore couldn't load windows. Changing back to ACHI sorted it all. Presumably this must have happened somehow when sleeping. All software and firmware up to date, and it definitely would not have been the user messing around in the BIOS.
Seems Vertex 2 drives often have sleep issues - do you think it is the cause? Anyone seen this before?
Thanks
