Strange software problem

My mate has got an original copy of Soundforge v7 which he bought just over a year ago.
When he opens up Outlook Express to read his email and then closes Outlook down he can't run Soundforge !
He then has to reboot his PC to get Soundforge running again.

Any ideas?

i cant understand why outlook would cause soundforge problems
have you checked the task manager to see whether outlook is shutting down right?

Good idea - I will ask him later.
