Strange 'sound' outside!!

Hi guys

I am right now sitting in my room and typing this.

Outside my home I am hearing this sound/noise like sort of ' radio waves' being transmitted across. It's pretty constant in it's amplitude and pitch. Seems to resemble the sound coming out of heart monitoring machine in the hospital when heart stops if you know what I mean. But greater in amplitude and so more loud.

I hope it's not some sort of secret signals or alien call!!

But it is pretty freaky :eek:

What could it be? I don't see any transmitters nearby.
