Strange spec me request

Going on safari to Kenya in July and have thought about getting a new camera. Currently have a Lumix something 7 compact which I don’t will cut the mustard.

So I’m looking at spending around 500 to 600 and have been looking at the Sony a6000 with the 2 lens package.

Any hints tips or advice would be appreciated.

I was thinking of the dual lens kit which comes with the 16-50mm and the 55-210mm lens.
