Im getting very low readings next to 12v on Speedfan and Im wondering if it is a misreading as it seems way too low to be able to run my system. Im just using this PSU until I get a replacement for an Enermax Liberty 500 as it arrived broken.

Should I be worried or is it just a mistake?

thats a really high spec for a 430w psu!
Yup I realise and as I said Im waiting for a replacement PSU for it, atm the system seems very stable to me running on the 430W Seasonic. The system has never crashed or hung and I had Orthos running for 8 hours at 2.8Ghz. Im starting to think you don't need these huge PSUs everyone keeps going on about.

I think the quality branded PSUs like your Seasonic there can take a lot thats thrown at it. I agree with you, PSUs that are recommended are far too high wattage. For a system like your's I would spec something around 500W just to allow overclocking and full load on the rails.

Lol my +12v is 1.86!

I have a Corsair HX 520 (re-branded Seasonic)

Not worried at all about it, PC working fine, 6+ hours of SP2004 shows no problems.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, the reading on the +12v is quite clearly wrong as is Fan1 - 675k rpm, yeah right. If the 12v was reading correctly then your PC wouldn't even start.

Maybe try checking in the bios as that can be more accurate but if you have a multimeter that is the only way to be sure. :)

I have the DS3 rev 2 mobo and the only program that would read the correct voltages was the one they give you on the CD.

Using speedfan i got stupid readings.

[edit] thats with an Antec Neopower 480W [edit]

PSU won't matter, its the board the software is reading and if that voltage was correct you could'nt even POST muchless load windows.
