A mate of mine has a Fiesta on a 56 plate. The message display on the dash has suddenly started saying "left rear door open" on his "three" door model.
He has owned the car for several years now and it's never appeared before.

Any ideas.

There may be part of the loom for a five door installed, if so it is shorting out. Other than that, a faulty module.

Tried a battery disconnect and reconnect?

(Though make sure you follow proper precedure for your car... It's not so simple nowerdays)
