I have just reformatted (and been a little aggressive with the slipstreaming...) but everything is working nice and fast like it should except the sound card :\
I am using the HDA Mystique through Z5500's (via Optical) and have had no problems at all
However my last several installations when I selected mute/mute all in volume controls (in windows) this would mute the centre and the rear surrounds leaving me with left/right + sub. Music sounded great - stereo seperation was lovely etc blah blah blah....
Since the re-install it will only play everything upmixed and thus through every speaker
Whilst it still sounds fine there is no stereo seperation and just feels wrong.
Fiddling with he settings in the control panel I can't see how to stop it upmixing...anyone care to have a go at solving this?
