Strange Titan card error

hi - got a strange problem with my titan card

if I run any benchmark - being using kombuster after a while sometimes 1/2 or less the NVidia graphics card will stop the benchmark and display not responding and restarts - pc is ok doesn't crash

but if I add a very slight overlclock using msi afterburner and up the core voltage by 5mv and rerun the benchmarks it never crashes and works??

any ideas ? - just fitted a brand new 1200 watt power pack and the older power pack still crashed anyway - tested memory on pc all fine and all other aspects of the pc are fine

also done a fresh build win8 and still it does it - what does seem odd sometimes after the slight overclock if I drop it back to default and run the benchmark it will run!!

any help would be great

You could try different drivers and if it still does it, it could very well be a faulty card. Adding more volts makes for a stable core and helps stop the driver crashing error but you should not have to do that at stock.

Try a different driver. As above you shouldn't have to up core volts to get the card stable at stock. If no change RMA time.
