just recently o&o defrag won't defrag as it says i have a disk error - even though chkdsk finds no errors.
i've noticed that chkdsk checks the usn journal now - i'm sure it has only been doing this recently.
also, i have a file c:\$Extend\$UsnJrnl:$J:$DATA, that is spread all over the drive - this was also not present until recently.
a bit of searching around and it looks like the latest version of windows live messenger may be responsible - and i have recently upgraded.
anybody had any problems with this?
