I'm not sure if people on here have had experience yet. But down here in Somerset it's been a strange couple of days with it being swelteringly hot and i mean hot as in you cant wear a jumper.. then suddenly it started to rain for about half an hour then it went to being hot again.. then the same thing would happen. This has been happening for about 3 days down here if im not mistaken.

Now this maybe just me but this doesnt seem normal.. I'm not sure if global warming is to blame but its just a possibility.

Anyone else had experience of this?

Please discuss.

Why do people always blame "strange" weather on global warming? Probably the same pussies who weep when the country gets 1" of snow, and they call it "atrocious".

I once heard we're at the end of an ice age - which makes sense to me, given today's weather.

Did you honestly expect nothing but birds chirping in the spring, sun in the summer, rain in autumn, and snow in winter?
just so you know i dont think global warming is happening as a result of cars and pollution etc i believe it to be a natural phonomenon because there were no humans to pollute the atmosphere at the beginning of the last ice age.. i do think pollution is going to have some kind of bad effect, obviously its going to. but i dont think global warming is one of the side effects. i only said it in my op as a possibility.

with regards to the snow in winter sun in summer comment i do know that that is highly unlikely.. but for it to be blisteringly hot then ice cold with rain then hot then rain again all day.. the boot just doesnt fit on this one.
