Ok strange issue this so please bare with me..
Heres the setup.
Server Win2k3 runs dns dhcp and wins.
HTPC wi-fi static IP uses wins and dns from server.
Laptops use static ip and dns / wins from server.

Nows here the strange part.
When the HTPC is off or rebooting ALL other wi-fi devices in the house loose there wireless connection.??
Its like the HTPC is acting as a WAP.??
As soon as the HTPC comes on again all is good.

I've check ICS is off and all IP assignments are correct yet i cannot figure it out.
Any thoughts anyone please.?

Which pc's have wireless? When you say they loose connection what do you mean? Can they see\ping anything? Why are you running wins no one uses that now?

HTPC and 2 xlaptops are wireless.
Server + 3 x gaming rigs are CAT5'd

They loose the wireless connection i.e like being unplugged from LAN (media state disconnected), no ip etc.
Using wins for simpl netbios share resolution.
