My dad just came and told me that he's logged onto hims account down stairs and all of hims files and favourites have gone. Looks like there are a lot of problems with programs that were installed. Can't even access the net without loads of rendering problems.

However, log into my account on his PC and its fine.

Looking at the documents and settings folder I can see a folder for my account, my dad's and another one has appeared.

For arguments sake, my dad's account is called Dad and there is a folder with this name that contains all of his documents and favourites. But it looks like when my dad is logging in its loading up the other folder with none of his personal settings. This folder is called Dad.DAD

Erm... What's going on? :p

Normally happens when the account is corrupt.
Create a new 'Dad2' account and copy all the files across.
Delete 'Dad' and 'Dad.Dad'.

Happened a few times on my work machine.
