Upon installing some programs (NOD32, Kerio, normal stuff), for some reason windows now kinda attached itself to my usb stick. When booting uo, it looks for it (F:/drive/username/desktop) it also created my username folder in my usb stick that i can't delete !

Anmd on top of that, the firefox icon that on the desktop only appears when the usb stick is in. It is really annoying, anyone know what causes it and how to change it back?

It seems everything i download for some reason goes to the USB stick's desktop folder that it created, could it be because it is low on ram ? This machine is using 196mb ram and is windows xp.

Somehow you must have set the USB as the default download folder.
In Firefox it's in Tools, Options > Downloads
