Stumbled upon this and wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience.
I'm backing up my work folder, via a file syncing app - so I have a complete copy of it all on a seperate drive.
Now, when do a sync, it should skip all the files that already exist, except it re-copies a selection of random files. While they're random files, it's always the same set of files. No particular extension, just a mix bag of files.
Now I have tried different apps, xcopy, different source/destinations.. and its always the same result, these same files get copied over, despite the fact that they already exist!
I've even ran a file comparing app, and it clearly states that both the source and destinations are exactly the same.
The timestamps on the files look normal too, as well as the archive bits.
Any clues? It's not a major problem, just a pain.
