Strange wireless problems with router

On Christmas Eve we had a very quick powercut or spike, the kind that just quickly dims the lights and knocks out a couple of clocks. Since then we have been having intermittent issues with the wireless network. Every so often connection is lost to the internet. It doesn't happen to all the pc's at once, just 1 or 2 at a time and mostly to my dad's laptop. My mum's pc seems to be immune and so does my netbook for the most part. My phone (SGS2) also has no issue, it's always able to connect. Everything else though have problems.

The router is a Netgear DGN2000, everything is connected wirelessly and all pc's, bar mums, are running win 7. Mum's pc is still on xp and connected to a small Netgear wireless bridge. Mine is connected to this Edimax wireless bridge. Everything is a laptop so they use a mixture of Realtek and Intel wireless chipsets.

At the moment both my pc and my dad's laptop aren't able to access the net via the normal network connections. However, i currently have my phone plugged into my pc being used as a wireless bridge and it's working fine. The connection through the Edimax is showing as not connected to the net.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks :)

Edit: I'm starting to think that this may be a win7 problem. Lost connection on my pc with the net again, checked my phone and that was fine, switched on mums pc running winxp and thats also fine. The problem seems to be confined to win7 machines. There was an update a few days ago and it has happened since then. So maybe it's got nothing to do with the power surge at all?
