Hi. Basically i'm working on a website that I back up regularly. Anyways I ran a cache plugin that completely messed the website up - no problem I had a duplicator backup from a few hours ago.

Anyways I wipe the domain and database and upload the duplicator zip file and installer.php run as normal. My website runs fine except for a few niggling problems that are doing my head in!

1, The main menu I used to be able to hover over it and it would display the sub pages however now I have to click it.

2, I used a jquery sidebar menu widget as a second navigation on some pages and it has totally messed that up - there are empty buttons in-between normal menu buttons and white gaps in the menu sidebar.

3, I am selling on there and it is causing some issues with the cart.

My question is - how on earth do I go about rectifying these problems?

Thanks.

Have you tried forcing your browser to refresh its cache? The cache plugin might have caused your browser to cache things.

Press CTRL + F5 on the site to do a cache flush.

As Pro has said, clear your cache.

Had a similar issue a few months back, no idea what happened but the CSS files from the backup wasn't the same.

Ended up using something like this and correcting the differences.

It might be worth de-activating your plugins, checking your menu's / widgets etc and re-activate one by one.

Has the WordPress version / theme version changed?

Forced a cache flush and tried it over 3 different browsers and still the same issues.

Wordpress / Theme version have remained the same. I will disable/re-enable plugins one by one and let you know.

Right it seems the plugin causing the problem is "jQuery Vertical Mega Menu".

Is there anyway to delete this plugin completely and re install? I have tried deactivating then deleting and re installing but get the same issues.

EDIT: Just re-installed again and all seems to be fine :s. thanks for the help chaps.
