Hey,
Im just in the process of putting together a new rig, the spec is in the sig. exept I'm waiting for the graphics and PSU to arrive.
Currently using a BFG7300 stock overclocked and enermax 370W psu.
I ran 3dmark06 and got 790 marks :O.
My old rig sitting over there, bless it as its served me well, but its old and dusty and sports an MSI Geforce 5600. Overclocked I got that rig up to about just under 3000 marks!
Now this score is in no way reflected in my real performance. With my old rig, it ran all the last generation and some this gen games great, aslong as I didn't turn all the graphics settings on max it would run fine. My new rig, even with my 7300 in there rips through games, 150FPS on UT2004 everything maxxed out @ 1024x768.
Yet I get a measly 790 marks compared to my old rig lol?
PS. When my card and PSU arrives I will reformat.
Edit, and also until my new components come everything is running cool to the touch at stock settings, waiting to be overclocked X)
