Stranger Things (Netflix)

I’m not gonna watch the vol 2 trailer, I feel like it could spoil it.

Have to stay off Reddit now too. Everyone taking screen grabs with spoiler containing titles.

Episode 4 was out of this world.

having jutlst rewatched all 4 other seasons, I kept saying to my partner how annoying it is that will has so little use, and that this season I hope has something for him. Was not disappointed. Massive boner moment

When Will froze the Demi's it was a jaw drop moment! The cinematography was fantastic and no doubt will be may people's screens servers and/or posters. The battle at the military compound was a season highlight for me.

Disappointed with what they have done with Robin - she's too goofy whereas when we first met her, she had brains and attitude.

Watched all 4 over the last week so as not too much of a wait for the next instalment!

Why aren't they working with the military? They both appear in same side. (I hope they aren't as this makes more sense)
Couldn't they just save the kids by.. I dunno, taking them out of quarantine?
I hope to hell this isn't a "dream" type scenario. Or that he's wrapped up in layers of his own memories. Better not be! :D
They aren't working with the military because they aren't on the same side. Maj Gen Sarah Connor brought the kids to the compound to use as bait as she believes 11 is behind it all and wants to capture/study/dissect her.

Not sure of the hate on Holly, i think she's a great little actress - she is the link that explained Henry's alter ego and brought Max back to us.

The Army Colonel literally wants to kill Eleven and in Season 4 attempted to one serval occasions. No reason to trust them.

Loved the first 4 episodes but Lucas was a bit of a shock when he was on screen for the first time. Suspension of disbelief returned as time went by but WHAM he looked more like a Klingon warrior than a high school kid.

Yeah, Lucas was a shock, he's aged the most, Will's deep voice is also funny to me.

I think it helped that they had other little kids in the show in episode 4, made our kids feel like young adults. I guess I don't think too much about how they are supposed to be teens still but instead seem more like young uni students

I do however have issue with Holly. They are trying to dress her like a 7 year old. The actress aged too much before they finally filmed. She shohld have been recast, but perhaps she had some strong contract with them and recasting could cause further delays

She was recast, with a 13 year old (now 14).

Part 2 consists of three episodes, with a combined runtime of just under three and a half hours. The breakdown is as follows:
  • Episode 5, “Shock Jock”: 1 hour, 8 minutes
  • Episode 6, “Escape From Camazotz”: 1 hour, 15 minutes
  • Episode 7, “The Bridge”: 1 hour, 6 minutes
Duffer also confirmed a small update to the length of the final episode. The series finale, titled “Stranger Things: The Finale — The Rightside Up,” will now run 2 hours and 8 minutes, extending the previously announced runtime by three minutes.

But at the time of casting probably a 9/10 year old. Go look at her photos when she was 9 and she was a cute kid and I can see a good fit for her character. And she could have still looked the part as she got a little older, but now she's way too old for that part.

But as said, who knows what contract they had with her. Maybe she gave up other roles for this so made a stronger agreement that they can't recast her. Or that there simply was too many delays and recasting her at the 11th hour would add further delays.

She 100 percent was the wrong actress for the part. The worst part of the latest season.
