Hmm, I like the demo, it has some nice things, the standoffs are good as well as precision aiming. The graphics aren't quite what I was expecting, the faces are good but they're not very smooth and the shadows on them seem a bit weird.

There is definitely a lot going on at once. It still feels a bit unfinished to me, the controls are a bit twitchy, the destructible scenery sometimes goes a bit weird and yeah as I said I think it needs a bit of an overall graphic polish.

Still good though, will wait for some reviews to decide whether or not to get it.
 
I started to download it, left my 360 for a bit came back and it had stopped, i went to redownload it and i get this error code 801b01f7 and to try again later :( :mad:

You can adjust the sensitivity and the auto aim in the options menu. At least there is no jaggies and its not horrible to looks at.

The whole marketplace is up the spout. I've just got R6:V through the post but I'm getting the same error when it tries to autoupdate! Pita...

Mines has cut out, popped up "Can't Download Stranglehold Demo" and now it's refusing to restart :/
 
Downloaded ok for me just now. Aiming and turning feels kinda slow even with adjustments. It looks alright but unrealistically colourful. It just feels a bit off to me. I got stuck in debris and stuff a few times too. It has its cool moments with the slo-mo and Tequila special move things. I liked Max Payne and I'm sure this'll be great to play too.

Was that John Woo as the bartender guy in the final scene? :confused:

I can still play games onlive ok.
I am on virgin media 20meg download also.

Strangley you can still hold a gun if you get shot in the hand tho
 
yep same again , read the post rush down to download the demo , 360 swichs on trys to do a dashboard update it cant download the update like the rest on here im on virgin media 20meg as well , dang im realy looking forward to this big Max Payne fan big Hard Boiled fan
