Anyone had this email tonight? I already use 2FA and I changed my passwords earlier this week (unrelated, was just changing them because I hadn't for a while). The email mentions malware, but I usually scan my pc once a week, also my pc doesn't actually get used that much these days (thinking minimum exposure). Is it possible to have leaked from somewhere else that the accounts linked too?

Post a screenshot of your email. Sounds like a classic phishing email, "urgent" "do this now, or this Will happen" etc.

Hopefully you didn't click any links and did it all independently through Steam.

It looked legit, the address it was sent from said [email protected]. there were a few links (not clicked on any of them), but it did say I didn't have to do anything (apart from change passwords, maybe that's the point and it was a scam:confused:). Oh I've just realised phone autocorrected steam in the title too:cry:.
This is the main gist of it.

The first sentence is a giveaway terrible grammar and it continues into the message, plus when they mention "law enforcement agency" is usually a dead giveaway too.
