I would personally guess that the likes of TV catchup and BBC iPlayer are going to get hammered. BBC might have the bandwith to cover it, but I reckon TVC may struggle.

Just out of interest; how much internet usage would say watching an hours tv use up? I am a touch new to internet usage on a mobile and am trying to get an idea how quickly my 'fair usage' will be reached.

What if you dont have a TV license where you are? Is it worth just going to the pub (alone) instead of streaming it online?

An episode of The Simpsons used around 80MB for me on TVC.

80 x 3 = 240mb an hour.

Obviously this will very but a rough guide. :)

So to watch 4 hours of TV you would be hitting a 1GB capacity. I think I get 3GB with T-Mobile. Will have to keep an eye on that. Will have to look into capacity monitors for the HTC Desire. :)

Any links for an audio stream? our work internet has the bandwidth of a rock, so streaming video is out of the question for the most part.

Decided to do a runner from the Spanish office early so i can watch it all on the TV, will put up with the Spanish commentary!
