stream music to garden

pretty much as per title ..
ive got a plex media server running in house and wifi / amp / speakers in worshop / garden
basically im just looking for a device to connect from plex to amp ..
theres probably a simple solution but i just cant think of it after a good sunday in the pub

any ideas ?

Are you set on using your amp or would simply something like a Sonos be an option? I guess a sonos port also would be an option, but not cheap. Sonos certainly plays well with my plex amp server

Ideally would like to use current setup with just someway to connect to plex without spending any / much money
i can already play cds and radio so cant really justify a lot of expense.

Use an old smart phone with headphone jack to connect to your amp directly or via 3.5mm to RCA cable, then use the Plex app on the phone to stream from Plex server.

Good plan .. ive pretty much had the same idea.
just found an old tablet that belong to youngest child before she destroyed keyboard and cracked screen , still works fine apart from that.
so will be just the job and not matter if the spiders make it there new home
