Stream PC to iPad with parental controls

Evening chaps,

Looking for a way to stream media from my HTPC to an iPad. The iPad is my nephews so I want to add some form of parental control or restricted access for obvious reasons. I have tried Air Playit as you can add which folders can be accessed specifically but annoying as it wont go full screen landscape. Any recomendations for something similar that does go landscape and preferably is as easy to set up.
