Anyone using a dedicated machine, media server to stream/transcode content to iPad? I'm thinking of building an Atom based machine running AirVideo, ZumoCast etc

Thanks :D

I've used a Mac Mini with flawless results

That includes SD & HD Blu-Ray rips.

I've thought of using a Mac Mini but I wanted to double up the stream machine as a NAS too. I'm currently using by MB 2.4GHz, works fine - thought I'd centralise everything.

I have a Mac Mini with a DroboPro connected (with 12TB of storage) :D

I would love a Drobo but they're mad expensive. My only option for that kind of storage is a Chyangfun 5 or 8 bay DAS. And they're eSATA and USB3, not Firewire 800 :(

I have mine connected via the ISCSI (gigabit) jack, via switch for maximum performance.

You can also buy the new DroboPro FS which has dual ethernet, but it wasn't out when I got mine *shakes fist*
