Streaming audio for websites

I need a method of streaming audio in an applet. They are MP3 clips of songs. What's the accepted way of doing things?

Windows Media Player or Quicktime I expect? Are there any fancy techniques?

Flash player? Interesting.

Will be a bit of a pain to hash something together though. Have yet to experiment with php driven flash. Is there a pre-made flash solution I can use (unlikely)?

Assuming not flash, what would you use? Thanks

A quick search brought up something called Wimpy. http://www.wimpyplayer.com/
