Streaming from Sopcast to PS3

Is there an easy way to do this?

I have tried following the walkthrough regarding using VLC and TVersity without success.

Would it be worth investing in some kind of Scart Dongle on the back of the TV, its driving me mad, most of the content I watch is on Sopcast (I use PS3 Media Server for any downloaded content).

Any help would be appreciated.
