Streaming media to wii

just tried it out and it works just fine.
only thing is some videos have a really crappy quality due to it having to be played in flash format, but others one play in great quality so its not too bad for a free extra you wer'nt expecting

all music is great and pics too

The thing I don't like about Orb is that you access it via their website with them acting as a man-in-the-middle, as opposed to accessing it directly via your own PC. Call me paranoid, but I don't like American companies knowing what media files I have on my PC.

I have just ben checking out PS3 Video 9 and there's an option to convert to play on Wii as well... anyone tried this?

Yeah tried to use the convertor tool to, there are a few audio issues (not playing at times) but other than that it works fine.

Huge loss in quality due to re-compressing compress material, oh and the file size is huge.

But it works and it works well, just load the movie on an SD card put it in the wii and goto the photo channel and you can play it from there.

As a player it pretty poor, ie not much functionality but other than that it rocks.
