Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can help me. I live in Oz now and have Telstra ADSL+2. I purchased a streaming service so I can watch tv from the UK well when I say I, I mean the Mrs...
Anyway for the first month or two it was great. Then the buffering started, it now can take up to 2 hours to watch a 1 hour program. I do speedtest.net and am getting 9Mbps (On wireless PC and laptop) and the streaming service recomends 4Mps minumum so I know the speed/ping results are good(no packet loss).
I bought powerline adaptors and wireless N dongles but both are the same, powerline work great on ps3 btw for downloading games as wireless is terrible on it.
Then I tried my PC streaming youtube etc and it buffers terribly.
If I download a file I get well over 9Mbps. Very confusing for me
My modem is a Technicolor TG587n v3. I have tried changing a few things like broadcast channel but it doesn't get any better.
Any ideas?
cheers,
Will
