Streaming on PS3

Hi Guys,

Would like some help with streaming avi/divx files from my PC to my PS3.

When i access my PC on my PS3 it does not display all my films just random videos taken on my camera.

Is there something i am missising or does the PS3 not support that format?

Do i download it to my PS3 or PC? Sorry if that sounds really stupid just ive never really used a PS3 before?

http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/downloads/list download ps3 media server from there. You should have no problems then.
