Streaming PS4 display to Android and/or laptop?

Apologies if this has already been asked and discussed elsewhere.

I would like to stream my PlayStation screen to an Android phone and my laptop. This is so I can play it whilst I am away from home but also because my tv at home is damaged it doesn't pick up the PS4 signal (very old tv and looking to replace towards the end of the year - that's a different story).

Basically all I want to do is to be able to play the PS4 on my samsung phone and my laptop instead of on my tv.

I managed to stream it through a program called Twitch but the lag was so bad.

I also came across a mod Remote Play app but it wouldn't work properly (keeps saying it needs updating).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry I forgot to mention I tried the above too. Don't work. The Android app is only for Sony phones hence u tried the modded version which doesn't seem to work.

I also tried the windows version but I get a black screen. From my research this could be because of my graphics card. Tried updating drivers but still no luck.
 
Well, they do work pretty well. I've used the Android app on a non-sony phone before.

You're not going to find a better solution, so I'd just look into solving the technical issues you're having with them. I can't offer any specific help though.

Unfortunately haven't worked for me hence why I am seeking help into other options. Hopefully someone has a different experience.

When you say you were successful with the Remote Play app on a non-Sony phone, this was on the official Remote Play app from the Play Store? Forgive my naivety but just interested how you did it as I am able to link my PS4 and control it off my Samsung too but can't view the screen, it's just black and as I mentioned in OP my research has led me to conclude that the app will only fully work on a Sony phone...
 
Think I downloaded the Apk from somewhere else. Worked fine though.

Your best option is to look into the technical issues with Remote play. Have you tried it on some different PCs?
