Hey guys,

I'm looking for some form of Streaming solution for a device in a different room/floor.

I have a gaming rig. Its in my small lounge.
My router is in my hallway (about 5M away).
My bedroom is upstairs.

I want to be able to play my few games from my gaming rig upstairs at my desk.

I have:
1. BT Wifi homehub
2. BT wifi disc in my room
3. Macbook Pro
4. Steam link Box

Are there any solutions which are cheapish which would allow me to do this?
Would powerline adaptors be an idea or is there something easier? [cant remember where I put my other powerline or if it was even working]

Would I need 3 powerlines? (one from my PC, one from the router, one from the bedroom)
Any other solutions?

Powerline adapters but its hit and miss as it depends on so many factors but mine work great in the extension. Not all in old part of house, but i only need them in extension. They work pretty good too.

Steam link streaming over wifi is not recommended. Powerlines should be a lot better, but not as good as a proper cable. If you've already got powerlines, give it a crack, you have nothing to lose.

Steam link and wired connection/power line adaptors works fine, I tried it on WiFi then opted for the adaptors as my pc was upstairs and I wanted to use my living room tv.
