Streaming to 360 while playing a game?

Is it possible to stream music to the 360 while playing a game using something like TVersity so that I dont have to keep creating playlists or going through the slow guide?

If this is possible is it possible to stream the sounds msn makes when a new message is recived aswell?

You can stream music without TVersity anyway, it will pick up a computer streaming files through Winamp or Media Player and play playlists on the computer.

Why do you need to stream MSN sounds? You get a ruddy big pop up alerting you of a message.
 
I do stream through the guide, but it takes too long to change artist etc, was wondering if it was possible that I could click on the music on my pc and it play through the 360, and I wanted to stream msn sounds coz i rarely notice it pop up or flash at me!

Edit: I don't want to have to make a new playlist each time i want to listen to some different songs.

I find that annoying sometimes but it is quite useful.
 
Surprised you can't see a pop up that takes up more than half the width of your TV screen across the bottom :p.

Would it not take longer to go to your PC to change song?
 
PC is sitting right next to my tv so no it wouldnt, and i dont notice it, 19" monitior next to 37" tv, what do you think is going to catch my attention :p
 
er maybe he doesn't sign in to messenger on the xbox, or runs a different messenger account on the PC ???
