Streaming to my PS3

I am able to stream movies to my PS3 but notive the PS3 doesnt have a high support for certain files like MKV or certain encoded divx or xvid files.

Is there some way round this ?

Tversity and homeplugs = MKV win !!

There is a google search that tells you exactly what codec pack to install and how to setup Tversity to allow MKV files to play on PS3. Will try and find it later tonight

I was going to go with PS3 Media Server but TVersity should do the job! I've had better results with PS3 Media Server (seems to use less resources too)

Even on my woeful XP 4200+ with 2gb ram Tversity seems more than suitable. Just much better now I have 200mb homeplugs. I couldn't stream a 700mb divx over wifi before.
