I asked a question about how to do this months ago and have finally gotten round to doing it using Mediaportal. Though it generally seems to be working ok, in that I can stream TV from my HTPC to my gaming PC, it refuses to tune a couple of transponders worth of channels (all the main ones like the BBC channels and ITV), claiming no signal. I've got these channels tuned in Windows Media Centre on the same PC so I know it's an issue with Mediaportal itself.
What I'm more interested in though is whether it's possible to use Windows Media Centre itself to do this as I've seen people say that they thought it was possible to do in Windows 7, is it?
