Streaming TV

Hello.

Im looking for a device to stream iplayer etc. I have an xbox one which is fine for netflix/youtube but ide like to watch some of the motorsport races on ITV iplayer.

I was looking at the google chromecast but im not sure if it supports itv iplayer?

Seems a cheap enough device and gets good reviews but theres no point if its just netflix/youtube and not iplayer

I think Chromecast does have ITV player. Alternatively the Roku streaming stick has it and tonnes of other apps.

I think recently chromecast started supporting screen sharing from android/ios devices

Can anyone confirm this?

yeah there's an itv app. only got 3 stars tho last time i looked. you need login details for it, which i don't want to have so never used it

as for screen sharing, i could easily on 4.4.4 custom roms, now i'm on a lollipop 5.0.1 rom i can too without any hacks
