streaming video from pc to tv wireless

If you've got a Xbox 360, PS3 or a TV/BluRay Player with built in DLNA capability then get Plex Media Server installed on your PC for free. Apps are also available for the Xbox One and PS4 but you need to have a Plex Pass subscription (£32 a year) to make use of them.

This will let you steam from your PC to your TV problem free.

Alternatively, if you don't have any DLNA capable devices and you want to spend as little money as possible you could get a NowTV for £10. You can "sideload" the Plex App on this device really easily but is limited to 720p.

If you want to have less trouble then you're next best bet is something like the Roku range (Roku3 works well) but they costs £35 to about £80.

My personal recommendation is the Amazon Fire TV. Again this lets you install a Plex App and steam from your PC but costs £80 (often found on sale for £65). This really comes to life if you have an Amazon Prime subscription (£80 a year) that gets you access to a pretty good list of free TV shows and movies in addition to free next day delivery.
