OK, following helpful advice from my earlier post, I'm considering purchasing some kind of wireless receiver for my TV so I can watch mpg/avi etc. vid's via my wireless network.
Can anyone tell me whether 8011.g is fast enough to stream video from PC to TV (assuming pretty good signal strength)?

Cheers again,

Dan.

My Xbox is connected wirelessly and I've not had any problems with video over it. My mate just bought a DLink DSM-520 which is a Wireless HD Media Player and it works just fine on his 802.11g network :)

802.11g linksys router with my macbook linked upto it, everything streams fine.
I had to change the buffer size in VLC though as i stuttered every now and then, but no problems otherwise :)

Yup i stream avi/mpeg and even some hd-wmv to my 360 over wireless and have no problems. Even with the 'average' signal strength.

my xbox (well, the flatmates) streams wonderfully from my laptop - which is connected wireless-ly over 803.11g so yeah, no problems.
