Roman Reigns was actually ok, even though he didn't have to do much other than be evil/angry.

Some reviews pretty awful. Still going to see this I think. For them it was just Tuesday, for me it will be Wednesday

I don't know if anyone else felt this way but almost all the fights seemed to be one character taking an absolute beating and then winning with one move from the game.
Chun Li ends up in a literal fire and gets 'killed' by Bison, and is still fine.

Dont be put off. I still thoroughly enjoyed it being a SF fan. I had a smile from start to finish. As someone labelled it. It's stupid fun

The suspension of disbelief continuity just didn't work. One minute they all seemed to be portrayed like normal but tough humans and given that characterisation eg Nolan Batman Trilogy esq; the next minute every main role inc the side actors were superheroes being kicked through brick walls, buried under rubble, having SF special moves on them and then recovering.
They seemed to switch back and forth which was the jarring bit.
Would have been much easier if they just stayed in 'superhero type character'.

Was actually great fun all things considered, I'm deffo going again.
I actually think this was 100% going to be R/15 rated. Lots of cuts and scenes which seemed very paired back and perhaps odd for a ground up 12A
I reckon Mortal Kombat II flopped so hard they panicked and cut this for 12A and more family.
