"We know Street Fighter 4 producer Yoshinori Ono already teased that Akuma and Cammy would likely be added to console versions of the game, but it turns out fans won't have to wait for the home releases to see one of them in action. Capcom's Unity blog has revealed that Akuma does indeed appear in the arcade version of Street Fighter 4, and they provided a few promotional images (see above) to prove it.
While it's a neat surprise for a game that's already been out for a month in Japanese arcades, the bad news is that it seems gamers won't be playing as him just yet. According to Game|Life, Akuma will only appear as a boss, and he'll only challenge players who are doing extremely well against the CPU -- the idea being to force them to lose and put in more money to continue. Hey, what do you expect? The dude's pure evil."
