Hi folks,

I've got Street Fighter IV on pre-order and I want to get the Madcatz controller that is currently available on the XBOX. What I want to know is, will this controller work on PC? I understand that it is USB.

Thanks

AFAIk they were releasing a PC one but the only difference was it didnt have the xbox home buttons and such on it. Im thinking that the pad would more than likely just use the same driver as the standard Xbox 360 pad but Im sure someone that has one will be able to confirm.

You should have a check in the MM too ;)

Has anybody found any of these Sega usb controller pads that are from other than China or Hong Kong on aforementioned well known auction site?

All I can see are ones from the far east.

Also, is there any adaptor you know of that will allow a Sega Controller for the PS2 to work on a PC? I have one of these already.

PS2 > USB adapter

plenty available cheap too, just dont install thw drivers and let windows pick it up automaticallya nd you should be fine, worked a chamr with my namco arcade stick and a few diff ps2 pads I tried

What I meant is a convertor to allow me to play my Sega Controller that I plug into a PS2. It is a Sega Controller I bought from Japan a few years ago. It has the same interface as the PS2 controllers.

I want to play this on the PC for SF4. Will there be input lag or anything with this?

i got my fightpad today and im really pleased with it :) i have tried it with a few emulators and its one of the best pads i have ever used, id say its even better than the saturn pad

A PS2 to PC USB convertor should be able to work fine with this if the controller uses the same interface as the PS2 pads.

As for any input lag and such, I've noticed no problems with my convertor for games or emulators.

This is the one I have Super Joy Box 5 Pro.

I absolutely love my PS3 fightpad. It didn't last long but madcatz repaired it and since then its been fine, but definately an awesome pad for SF.

Anyway to OP... yes the xbox 360 fightpads work on PC, I asked the same thing on SRK and afew ppl confirmed they have tested it and it works.

Ghuraba, I have 2x SEGA USB pads, one is brand new the other I opened and tested and it works on PS3 and PC. Again, very good pads for SF but much smaller then the madcatz ones, if you want one email me and I will put it on MM.

I alread have a Sega controller for my PS2 that I can use on my PC with an adaptor, thanks for the offer.

While I'm here, anybody know where a Sega USB Controller or the PC can be bought from the UK? The well known auction site has them all from China only.

Since we're all talking about gamepads this shouldn't be too off topic:
Is there a gamepad on this planet that has the same general design as the 360 gamepad (i.e: nice triggers, good analog stick positioning, etc) but a D-pad with individual buttons like the PS pads?
