Ive found that the other two albums needed to be listened to several times to be fully appreciated.
For any doubters, play tracks 4 & 8 and if you are not moved then i'll eat my beret.
I think Mike has matured a lot and if you can relate then its up there with M&M

love the streets :D Think ill buy this album makes a good change to listen to something a bit different and love the way last album was put together

is it just me or has his lyrics become less profound as his career has gone on, i mean "when you wasn't famous" isn't exactly the best of singles to use, original pirate material was intelligent and excellent, dare i say groundbreaking when it came out - like poetry and now it's slowly become this big joke where you can't actually relate to anything he writes or sings.

EDITED* ARE YOU HAPPY NOW HUH??? HUH?? WELL ARE YOU??

You'll never please me :p

"When you're a famous boy, it gets really easy to get girls, its all so easy, you get a bit spoilt. But when you try to pull a girl, who is also famous too, it feels just like when you wasn't famous*

The lyrics are dire, and the music behind it is boring and flat. I don't understand why they are in the charts being played by Radio 1 every 2 hours. :(

*in a stupid tone of voice because he can't even get close to the note.

Streets are getting better and better

get this man a dictionary - teach him the basic differences between "better" and "worse". he is clearly confused.

poor chap

I liked OPM, but Grand don't come for free I thought was relatively poor.

When you wasn't famous is a little self-indulgent but from when I've heard of the rest of the album the rest is back up there with his better stuff :)

I cant see the appeal of them myself.

The................... tunes all sound similar, he sings.............thesamewayinall.............of them, Very Badly.

The new album is damn good, cant con an honest john and never went to church are the 2 best songs off the album

A big Gilly style :/from me, as thats allthat needs to be said about the streets really.

If I want to listen to some chav talk for an hour i'll go stand in the local park.

its a great album. much more in line with the first then the second album. Less accessible than the second which seemed more about songs that could be released. I think that's lead to the 3rd being a much better album in the end. I'm liking it more and more as a listen to it.

'Honest john and never went to church are cracking songs. As is war of the sexes and momento mori. love the album:)

It's a good album imo. On par with OPM but in a completely different style if you know what I mean. It doesn't touch A Grand.. though, awesome awesome album.
