I installed a new graphics card over Christmas, a 970. I've been happy with it, not tried it with many games, mainly Witcher 3, Battlefront and GTA V, which I've had no problems with.
However I've been getting crashes during Ark, game just freezes, though any music I have playing continues in the background, I can't alt tab, or CTRL-ALT-DEL, I have to restart my machine.
So what's the best way to test my graphics card? I know Ark is unoptimized and buggy, but I want to prove it's Ark and not the fact that I have a faulty graphics card.
Here are my specs.
I'm currently running Windows 10, though my i7 is overclocked, I've not touched the speeds on the GFX card.
