From starting weight training again in the last few months i've noticed stretch marks developing on both biceps the mark on my right arm is just under my bicep near my arm pit and quite a few on my left bicep, is there any way to remove them  . :(

There was a thread about this a few weeks ago. The lotion is meant to be quite good as it relaxes the skin and helps to prevent stretch marks. I don't think there's a lot you can do once you get them but you'll learn to live with them.

There's no way of getting rid of them really, but you can fade the colour of them to your natural skin tone and they're as good as gone.

Cocoa Butter is good.

i used to do weights at highschool, the muscle grew way to fast in my arms and i have marks on both biceps now.

Started doing light weights and they coming back moreso :(

Time to try some of this crud :D

You're all wrong.

Stretch marks show progress.Progress is cool.

Get a black marker and circle them so everyone can see the progress you've made.

Hate to say it but your stretch marks are there to stay. I had them when I was a little porker around 5/6 years ago. After getting myself in shape they slowly faded. Now there just faint white lines which you can only see in certain light.

My biceps and back back of arms are covered in buggers, although I had them for a while so they all faded now. Still don't look too groovy, however. Also have them all over my legs but all seem to have faded (did take over a year).

If there is one thing that will indicate you are growing, its the stretch marks from muscle (or fat!) growth.

Learn to live with them, they are with you forever (says the man with them going from his nipple, up his chest, under his armpit, all down the arm and past the elbow, and of course, plenty in other places as well!).

squat stretch marks arent that nice to be proud of, but hey, thats life!

:]

I have one near my left knee. Don't know how/when it got there but its there. I'm living with it.

I do have well built legs though :D

I think it depends on your skin type whether you get them or not, I saw a dicussion about it on a bodybuilding forum.

For instance, Mark Hunt, an MMA fighter, has put on a hell of a lot of weight quite recently, and he doesn't have one single stretch mark at all:

My Legs have grown loads in the last few years and i don't have any stretch marks either. One of my mates though has awful red ones all down the back of his legs from squatting.

Your skin must be very un-elastic to get stretch marks that bad.

Are you quite pale skinned? It seems that often people with lighter skin get them far worse, or maybe it's just more noticable.

being ginger i definitely have pale skin :]
most of mine came from when i started doing weights at 15, i hit the gym hard and grew quickly and grew well. my skin at the time was not ready for the growth imo.
the ones on my gut and my sides are from being a 23 stone fat barsteward when I let myself go 7 years ago.

a few of the old ones have days of redness as im growing again, but not much tbh.
