I sent off me geil DDR2 6400 memory on an rma due to one of the sticks not running at rated timings. I sent it off Friday afternoon (yesterday) and I've recieved an automated email saying the replacement memory has been shipped already! Thats only 24 hours later and over a weekend too. I reckon I might get it on monday, thats gotta be a record.

Glad someone has had some luck with a geil return, i havent.....I sent 1 set of mine back on the 29th, due to memtest errors and instability. Asked for refund and they still havent processed it never mind refunded me. They recieved it on the 30th and twice this week ive been fobbed off, 'a day or so more, we are busy' at start of the week...and today '7-10days for testings as stated in your RMA email' (its 10days as of today, and that was not stated in the RMA email 
). To add insult, i got a 2nd email confirmation of reciept today, 10days after they emailed to say they recieved it the first time - who knows maybe ill get refunded twice ?

I was going to go for refund again as the corsair i replaced the first set with is excellent, but due to the price rises ill just ask for a replacement and hope its third time lucky with the geil....im gonna cry if it isnt

The first set defiantely wasnt, it did boot at its rated speed and memtest errored on 1 dimm whilst on the 3 others it didnt. This set boots at lower speeds but not at rated speed with rated timings, to me that suggests its not a compatability issue. Im sure ive seen other people with P5B Deluxes say they were using the Geil too.
However it is possible and I am still considering just asking for a refund and getting some cas5 corsair...but id have to order that now as the prices have skyrocketed and are still going up, theres only 1 place i know still has it for a semi reasonable price, but i cant afford to order it until at least ocuk refund me for the first set or i get paid in 10days, meh

I gave in, asked my mum for a loaner until payday/1st ocuk refund, and ordered the corsair. Im positive its going to go up in price in the morning hehe. All this because i need to keep 1200quid to pay my uni fees during the week aghhh, damnit
