Is the waterblock that comes with this board able to cool the whole chipset or just the northbridge? Also how stable is this board now? I heard that recent bios updates made this board stable enough to consider buying?

It primarily cools the NB, but it will help cool the rest of the chipset as they're connected by the heatpipes.

So when cooled by water and updated to the latest bios, this board is finally as stable and reliable as the other 790i boards?

Ahh, what you on about ?.

Its the best out of all the 790I's, the SATA corruption in them all (every 790I from all vendors) was caused by SATA Bios+SATA Drivers same as back when Silicon Image had same problem on the NF2's.

The Nvidia REF Mobos are hot and can you bear that NB fan running on it ?.

There was a review last week or so ago comparing them all and the Striker II Extreme came out tops again.
