Its was all going nicely until this morning.
Playing away on the games machine (its my week off and the wife is away :D)
and partway through a game the machine crashes totally. reboots itself and returns to normal. All looks ok, temps are fine (mid to high 30s) and no beepsfrom the enermax.
Continues ok then crashes again and comes up saying bios checksum error on rom and it wants to run awdflash...
doesnt even post.
ok power off and cleared the cmos and its still stuffed so I re flash the bios with the original from the cd and get back infor about 1min then pop its off again. wrestled with it formost of the day on and off.
I can load a bios file, then get into setup and set the parameters but its 50/50 if it posts. If it does post then it gets to windoze and crashes right out

I think my motherboard is cream puffed but am hoping someone has a magic bullet for this.....please :o

Your wife probrably put a screwdriver across the motherboard before she went away :D

All i can suggest is totally strip the motherboard down and try everything out of the case one by one and see if that helps

I think that sounds like the way to go unfortunately. the water cooling complicates everything

ho hum ...may just use it as an excuse to get that formula SE that I fancy.
pricey but nice and none of that 680/780 instability
