Stripped down version of XP

Im sure I once heard of a stripped down version of xp that just installed the minimum apps to run and was therefore faster for gaming.

Anyone know what its called?

Would I be able to install this on my 2nd drive and have a dual boot, a fast XP for gaming and Vista for general use?

Vista seems to cause me lag, dont like it.

copy your xp disc contents to

c:\xpcd

download SP2 and slipstream it with nlite (only if the disc doesn't have sp2 already), and integrate the "ryanvm hotfix pack" as a hotfix in nlite

read each component carefully when removing

Seems a bit much for my small brain right now, lol.

Vista is on my C: Drive, I want to have XP on my E: drive, do I have to install XP onto the E drive before I start the nLite program?

no, you run nlite on your xp disc pre install
