Hello everyone! I have a 3090 Strix OC and in Warzone im getting roughly between 100-130FPS. I don't think this is right? I have tried to collate as much information as possible for anyone who could help me troubleshoot this issue:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X – Latest Chipset installed
ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Motherboard – Latest BIOS version
ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB ROG Strix GAMING OC
Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4
DRAM 3600MHz C18 – D.O.C.P Enabled
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB on M2 motherboard slot 1
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB on M2 motherboard slot 2
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB on PCI-E lane 3 (Found GPU was only running in x8 mode if this M2 was plugged into lane 2).
Corsair RM850x PSU
Screen: 34GN850 34" Resolution: 3440X1440 @144Hz
X6 Corsair ML120 RGB Pro Case fans
iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler + x6 Fans in push/pull
Windows 10 Pro 64bit OS

I used MSI Afterburner and GPU-Z to log all stats while playing warzone. I have also took screenshots of parts of my Mobo BIOS aswell as the game settings. See here:

Any help would be appreciated.

At 3440x1440 I’d say that’s about right with probably max settings to be honest.

Ensure the renderer thread count in the warzone/MW settings is correct.

Go to Mydocuments/games/modernwarfare/players/adv_options.ini and set render count to 10. Probably set to 20 or some other odd number. It should be set to actual cpu core count and can boost perf with Ryzen cpus.

You could also monitor the speed of the 3900x and ensure it’s boosting properly or OC/PBO if not see if it helps.

TBH I just expected more from it. I watched this video and realised he's getting on 4K high settings what im getting at 3440x1440. Then I tried 4K and got the same-ish results!

In all fairness I did I turned off, Nvidia Overlay (I was using it for Game filter and Instant recording) and Icue. I gained about 15-20 FPS.

Benchmarked Cyberpunk and It's in line with other benchmarks.

This is what i have set in my adv_options.ini:

// generated by Infinity Ward
version = 1
VideoMemoryScale = 1
RendererWorkerCount = 12
ConfigCloudStorageEnabled = 1

Thank you all for your replies :)

If you are getting the same performance at 1440p and 4k then it's likely you have a cpu or some other bottleneck

Did a little test to see where mine lands.

All settings maxed but ray tracing off and motion blur off.

1440p = 160 to 180fps
4k = 110 to 130fps

I dont usually play warzone because battle royal is worst thing ever in gaming, but I plaued 10 minutes to get these numbers. Hope that helps

Why did you have RT off ?

Does it make much difference to the FPS in that game ?

So that the result can easily be compared to other cards that don't have RT. It's about being apples to apples - if I post RT result then it can't be compared to AMD cards or older Nvidia cards

If it helps I do play Black Ops with RT on and get 120fps at 1440p, I also play Black Ops Zombies and get 90-100fps at 1440p
